Chinese auto company rewards Ghanaian customers with discounts

Zonda Ghana Limited, a Chinese automobile assembling company, in partnership with Great Wall Motors of China, announced various rewards for its Ghanaian customers late Friday.

The rewards, including discount sales of some of its premium automobile brands in addition to cash rewards for the first buyers, were announced at a customer appreciation party held late Friday in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.

Fan Dongyun, Deputy Managing Director of Zonda Ghana, said the appreciation was the company’s way of showing gratitude to the customers who kept faith with them over the years.

“Moreover, the Ghanaian government has removed the Value Added Tax (VAT) on the assembling of these vehicles. So, tonight, we are launching with the best price for everyone,” Fan stated.

She was confident that with the zero-VAT sales, the company’s brands of automobiles, conditioned for the Ghanaian and African conditions, would continue to enjoy high patronage.

She said the company would continue to work hard to continue satisfying its customers, and through that, increase its market share in 2025.

Customers of Zonda would enjoy discounts on the GWM Tank 300 SUV, the Great Wall Commercial, and the Great Wall Individual Poer pick-ups that were launched in Ghana in June. Also, they will enjoy discounts on the newly introduced Haval Jolion and Haval H9.

Fan described the Ghanaian market as customer- and investor-friendly, where Zonda enjoys a lot of patronage.    She added that through the assembling of these vehicles in Ghana, Zonda creates jobs and also does technology transfer for Ghanaians.
