Lekzy DeComic, a budding Ghanaian comedian, will mount the stage at the auditorium of the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) late Saturday with the mission to thrill Ghanaians with his brand of comedy.
The show dubbed The New False is cut as a satire of the new political movement, The New Force, led by business magnate Nana Kwame Bediako.
Just as in the case of the New Force, Lekzy DeComic also mounted billboards with masked images around the city ahead of the announcement of the 28th September show.
Lekzy told journalists during the unveiling that the New False comedy show would be his biggest and most hilarious comedy event in the history of Ghana’s arts and pop culture.
“The New False event promises to be an experience more than comedy. The New False will not just make people laugh but will also drum home some of the pressing needs of the Ghanaian citizenry in a witty and non-provocative fashion,” he promised.
Ghanaian songwriter, singer, rapper and producer EL is billed to perform as a guest artiste for the night.
Also expected to mount the stage are comedians Jacinta, Jeneral Ntatia, Foster Romanus, Papa Yaw, Kojo Pjay, Oojoo, and Dan Kwaku Yeboah.
